77% Back Private Accounts

It’s amazing to listen to the “death” of the President’s plan for private Social Security accounts — the only way to save the system, the only way to give Americans hope of a secure and prosperous retirement — after looking at this poll. 77% of Americans back private accounts, and that’s UP! As noted on this blog, the numbers were high — and yet a good bit lower — just a month ago.

To listen to CBS, CNN, etc., you’d think these numbers were reversed and dropping fast. Not so. And it’s time Americans stand up and demand what they want and need.
