So You Thought She Was Out, Did You?

Well, you shouldn’t have.
As I’ve been telling anyone who would listen for weeks now, Hillary Clinton isn’t going anywhere.
And why would she? Everyone keeps saying it’s mathematically impossible for her to win the nomination on elected delegates, but the same is very much true for Obama (and was before Ohio and Texas).
The fact that you don’t hear it said that way is partly because the media keeps focusing on something the Democrat Party clearly doesn’t care about (continue reading post »)
The Coming Brokered Democratic Convention

My friend Mark Hyman writes in The American Spectator on why it makes absolutely no sense for Hillary to drop out, regardless of tomorrow’s results.

The latest from pundit-land is “no” since up to 50% of Americans say they will definitely not vote for her.
But for those of us who have watched her public appearances over time, from speeches to debates, the answer isn’t so clear.
Here’s a good analogy: If you’ve seen the original Rocky movie on DVD (or VHS), you may recall a scene where Apollo Creed, the heavyweight champion, (continue reading post »)
Hitchens: “Tenet’s Sniveling, Self-Justifying Book is a Disgrace”

Always nice when a liberal tells the truth about the current conflict. All the more so these days, when the entire mainstream media is doing its level best to make one of both Bill Clinton’s and George Bush’s biggest mistakes into a brilliant sage.

Hilarygate is the New Media scoop par excellence. Mainstream news organizations shunned this story for seven years. Only in alternative New Media — and especially on the Internet — did whistleblower Peter Franklin Paul find an outlet for his grave allegations regarding Hillary’s corruption.
“With the exception of Paul Rodriguez, editor of Insight Magazine, no mainstream print journalist made any real effort to understand the allegations I have been levelling at Mrs. Clinton since 2001,” Mr. Paul told TheVanguard.org. (continue reading post »)

Hillary thanks Hollywood mogul Peter Paul for his (illegal) role in funding her 2000 Senate run. hillcap.org |
Did Hillary Clinton win her Senate seat fair and square? Or did she lie, cheat and steal her way to the top; raising huge quantities of illegal campaign funds, and suppressing evidence of her wrongdoing? Growing evidence suggests that she did the latter.
In her 2000 Senate run, Hillary raised more than $30 million, in one of the most expensive Senate races in U.S. history.(1) How much of that money did she raise illegally? (continue reading post »)
Attorneygate: Bill Clinton’s 1993 Purge of U.S. Attorneys
Published by Richard Poe April 14th, 2007 filed under Richard Lawrence Poe, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, TheVanguard.Org
History is an excellent antidote for hysteria. All the huffing and puffing over the Bush Administration’s firing of eight U.S. Attorneys might be tempered by an awareness that Bush’s predecessor, President Bill Clinton, summarily fired all 93 U.S. Attorneys on a single day, March 24, 1993. R. Emmett Tyrrell’s new book, The Clinton Crack-Up, posits that what is really shaping up is the final, defining clash of the Baby Boomers: Goldwater kids versus flower children. Only one side can win. And they’ll take the future of the country with them.
Taking Day Off for Football Costs Dems Credibility

Dick Morris rightly lambastes the Dumocrats for their latest broken promise in this column originally posted on Drudge. The five-day work week was a centerpiece of the Dems’ 2006 campaign (however dishonestly: Congress does work five days a week and often more; they simply don’t schedule floor votes every day), a blatant and successful attempt to score cheap propaganda points against an unpopular Republican leadership.
